Here are a few assorted pertinent facts about me:

- I am 25 years old and female.

- I was born and raised in the bright sunny south but abandoned it in order to live in an un-airconditioned 4th floor walk-up on the east side of Manhattan.

- I have a B.A. in English and an M.A. in Cinema Studies and currently underutilize both degrees by working in film & TV programming and freelance copywriting on the side.

- I drink my coffee black.

- An incomplete list of some things I enjoy doing, in no particular order: reading, theorizing endlessly about television, experiencing New York on the cheap, frequenting ramen and dumpling houses, entertaining, and annoying everyone I meet by attempting to engage them in conversation about things I read in The New Yorker.
